MOFFETT VINEYARD - ESTATE
1990 was an excellent growing season. The set was great and
the weather looked very promising for a long growing season.
The early morning fog throughout most of September allowed
the additional hang time for the fruit that everyone was looking
for. The Moffett Vineyard was harvested on October 2nd.
Aromas of ripe berries are accented with hints of mint and
the spices of bay leaves and ginger. This wine has intense,
fresh blackberry and chocolate flavors that are reinforced
by well-seasoned, toasted oak barrels. There is youthful structure
with exceptional length and complexity enjoy now or
await the rewards of patient cellaring over the next 10 years.
